Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pastrycook in a busy kitchen.
• Strong pastry, cake and dessert skills with attention to detail.
• Mandarin Chinese ability essential for kitchen communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Taiwanese and Asian-inspired desserts and pastries to the restaurant's standards.
• Prepare a range of desserts, custards, fillings and sauces.
• Measure and prep ingredients accurately according to recipes.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Decorate and present desserts to the restaurant’s standards.
• Maintain pastry and dessert prep stations and stock levels.
• Assist with inventory and ordering of pastry ingredients.
• Report to Chef and General Manager and collaborate with the team.
