Job summary

William Angliss Institute of TAFE – Melbourne VIC is seeking a part-time Teacher-TAE to develop resources and assessment tools and to foster industry and government body relationships. The successful candidate will work as a team member teaching within the Short Courses team and service areas.

Commencing salary is $97,907 p.a. plus 12% superannuation for 0.6 FTE (22.8 hours per week) fixed term until 31 December 2027, with opportunities for professional development and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum teaching qualification of Diploma of Vocational Education and Training and relevant industry experience.
• Demonstrated ability and experience to plan and deliver TAE courses both online and in person.
• Ability to research and develop appropriate teaching materials and methods of assessment and adapt delivery and assessment to meet student needs using appropriate technology in a diverse teaching environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop resources and assessment tools to support delivery and maintain relationships with industry and key government bodies.
• Work as a team member and teach within the Short Courses team and service areas.
