Job summary

NQ Staff Services is seeking a trainer to join our team in Cairns, Queensland. The role offers full-time, part-time, or casual arrangements and requires a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122).

Candidates with First Aid, White Card, or Confined Space experience have an advantage. Successful applicants will work closely with students and the admin team to ensure a positive learning experience for all participants.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job description

Our client is looking for a full-time, part-time or casual trainer. Experience as a trainer is not necessary, but the successful applicant must hold TAE 40116 (or equivalent) . This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking at entering the training industry, or someone who is looking at taking the next step in the industry.

They are looking for the right addition to their team that will work closely with our students & admin team to ensure a positive learning experience is had by all.

Qualifications & experience

• Must have Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or TAE40116)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience training First Aid, White Card & Confined Space advantageous.
• Excellent work ethic, can do attitude
• Attention to detail is a must in this role

Tasks & responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery of face to face training
• Assessing /marking training modules
• Liaise with Administration and Compliance staff
