Job summary

TAFE SA invites applications for Lecturer roles to deliver quality training, assessment and guidance to students in accordance with training package objectives. You may also contribute to consultancy services for industry and community clients.

Successful applicants will bring strong vocational education experience and relevant TAE qualifications, with a WWCC required before employment. Roles are full-time, with salary range $86,239 - $104,720 p.a. plus super, and locations negotiable.

Qualifications

• Strong vocational education experience, including training needs analysis, course/program design, industry training and facilitation.
• Contextualise assessment tools, industry assessment practices, RPL methods and Quality Education Systems.
• TAFE qualifications, including Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent, and Diploma of Vocational Education and Training.

Responsibilities

• Provide a quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students.
• Lecturers may also provide consultancy services to industry/community clients.
• Operate in alignment with relevant training package objectives and Role Description.

The primary role of a TAFE SA Lecturer is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives. Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.

• Strong vocational education experience, including training needs analysis, course/program design, industry training and facilitation.
• Demonstrated ability to contextualise assessment tools, industry assessment practices, RPL methods and Quality Education Systems.
• Relevant TAE qualifications, including Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent, and Diploma of Vocational Education and Training.

What You Need to Know

A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
