FourQuarters Recruitment is seeking an experienced MSP Engineer in Melbourne to support and deliver across a mix of cloud and on‑premises infrastructure projects. You will build, deploy and upgrade Windows Server, Azure and virtual environments while acting as an L3 escalation point for complex incidents.

You will configure and manage VMware or Hyper‑V, implement Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, and develop PowerShell scripts to automate recurring tasks.

Formación

• MSP experience is essential.
• Strong technical knowledge across Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP.
• Hands‑on experience implementing and supporting Microsoft 365, Azure and Entra ID.
• Experience building and managing virtual infrastructure using VMware and/or Hyper‑V.
• Practical PowerShell scripting and automation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Configure and maintain VMware and/or Hyper‑V environments; troubleshoot performance and availability issues.
• Implement backup and recovery solutions and contribute to DR testing.
• Configure and troubleshoot networking infrastructure, including switches, firewalls and VPNs.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate recurring tasks and improve consistency.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen security, reliability and performance.
• Maintain technical documentation, implementation plans and handovers for clients.

About you

You’ll bring systems engineering experience within an MSP, with the ability to both support existing environments and deliver new infrastructure. You’ll be comfortable owning technical changes, working through complex problems and balancing project commitments with operational priorities.
We’re looking for:

• Previous experience working within a Managed Service Provider.
• Strong technical knowledge across Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP.
• Hands‑on experience implementing and supporting Microsoft 365, Azure and Entra ID.
• Experience building and managing virtual infrastructure using VMware and/or Hyper‑V.
• A track record of delivering server upgrades, migrations or infrastructure improvement projects.
• Sound knowledge of networking, backup solutions and disaster recovery.
• Practical PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems, remote monitoring tools and change management processes.
• Clear communication skills and confidence working directly with clients, vendors and technical colleagues.
