Lockheed Martin Australia is seeking a Systems Design Team Lead to guide the development of the Joint Air Battle Management System (JABMS) as part of the AIR6500 program. You will lead systems design activities, drive technical decisions and ensure mature, high-quality design solutions for a complex Defence program.

You will work closely with Product Teams, SMEs and Defence stakeholders, providing technical leadership and coordinating engineering efforts across cost, schedule and delivery

Qualificações

• Extensive Systems Engineering experience delivering complex Defence/large-scale systems.
• Proven ability to lead systems design activities including requirements, architecture and interfaces.
• Strong MBSE/MBSD knowledge and tools such as MagicDraw, Cameo or Rhapsody.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and influencing stakeholders.
• Experience with design trade studies and cross-component integration.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and requirements management tools (DOORS, DNG).
• Active NV-1 security clearance or ability to obtain one; Export Controlled information handling.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of Systems Engineers to develop system/subsystem requirements, architectures and designs within MBSE.
• Drive design trade studies, assessments and key engineering decisions to meet program objectives.
• Lead system/subsystem design reviews and ensure artefacts meet maturity levels.
• Define and estimate engineering scope for PI activities supporting Agile delivery.
• Collaborate with Product Teams, SMEs, subcontractors and disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, coordinate resources, and support cost/schedule/delivery goals.
