Lockheed Martin Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Chief Systems Architect for the AIR6500 program in Australia. The role governs the end-to-end architecture of the Joint Air Battle Management System, aligning with operational needs and future capability objectives.

You will influence design decisions with Defence stakeholders and industry partners. You will drive system architecture governance, MBSE practices, risk management and stakeholder engagement, while mentoring teams and advancing

Qualifications

Extensive experience leading architecture and systems engineering on large Defence System-of-Systems
Expertise in MBSE, SysML and architectural frameworks for complex programs
Proven ability to govern technical decisions, risk and stakeholder engagement

Responsabilités

Lead development, maintenance and governance of AIR6500 JABMS architecture across the lifecycle
Endorse subsystem designs in alignment with AIR6500 architecture
Translate requirements into robust architectural solutions and baselines
Drive trade studies, technical governance, risk management and integration planning
Lead risk identification and assurance while maintaining configuration traceability
Engage Defence customers, suppliers and engineering teams to achieve consensus
Mentor architects and engineers and promote engineering excellence
