Job summary

Ballarat Community Health invites applications for a Systems Analyst to diagnose and resolve issues across client management and internal applications. You’ll investigate problems, test upgrades and coordinate with vendors to implement practical fixes, while keeping users informed in plain language.

You’ll need strong SQL and Excel skills, a relevant tertiary qualification, and the ability to explain technical concepts to staff. This 0.8–1.0 FTE role is based in Ballarat.

Qualifications

• Experience with business applications and strong SQL/Excel skills.
• Tertiary qualification required.
• Healthcare or client management system experience is useful.

Responsibilities

• investigate application, integration and data issues to find the root cause
• administer and maintain business applications and integrations
• use SQL to investigate issues beyond the user interface
• Support end users with data and reporting from systems
• plan, test and coordinate system upgrades
• work with vendors to resolve and prioritise issues
• train and support employees to use BCH systems confidently
• contribute to system improvements and projects across BCH.
