Job summary

PRONIA is seeking a System Administrator to manage client, clinical and quality information systems, including Visual Care, and to drive improvements across regulatory compliance and service delivery.

You will collaborate with operational leaders to analyze business needs, enhance workflows, and ensure data quality and security while supporting staff with training and system changes.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Systems, Business Information Systems, IT or related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Current Australian Driver Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Current National Police Check and Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).
  • Must not be subject to any Worker Screening Exclusion, Banning or Disqualification Order.

What you will be doing

The System Administrator - Client, Clinical and Quality Systems is responsible for the effective management and continuous improvement of PRONIA's client, clinical, quality and operational information systems, including Visual Care.

Working collaboratively with operational leaders, the role ensures systems support high-quality service delivery, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency and positive participant outcomes.

The role will provide expert advice on business systems, analyse business requirements and lead the implementation of system improvements that enhance workflows, data quality and organisational performance.

You will play a key role in ensuring PRONIA's systems remain secure, reliable and aligned with legislative requirements, funding obligations and organisational priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and optimise organisational systems to support effective service delivery, quality and compliance.
  • Lead business analysis and process improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, automate tasks and improve organisational efficiency.
  • Translate business needs into system solutions, working with operational teams and vendors to deliver effective technology improvements.
  • Oversee system configuration, upgrades and implementation of new functionality and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards and data insights to support informed operational and executive decision-making.
  • Ensure data quality, security and governance, including compliance with legislative, funding and organisational requirements.
  • Provide system support and user training, building staff capability and promoting effective use of organisational systems.
  • Manage software vendors and technology partners, including system performance, licensing, enhancements and service delivery.
  • Support information security, privacy, business continuity and risk management across operational systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation, ensuring technology solutions deliver value and support the organisation’s strategic priorities.
Mandatory Requirements
  • Degree in Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Information Technology or related discipline; or Equivalent combination of qualifications and extensive experience.
  • Current Australian Driver Licence and access to a reliable motor vehicle.
  • Current National Police Check and Working with Children Check (or the ability to obtain prior to commencement) and at the required intervals.
  • Must not be subject to any Worker Screening Exclusion, Banning or Disqualification Order under applicable Commonwealth or State legislation, including the Worker Screening Act 2020 (Vic).
The ideal candidate will have
  • Demonstrated experience in business systems administration, business analysis and process improvement with experience using or administering Visual Care.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions.
  • Experience with data management, reporting, dashboards and business intelligence.
  • Experience coordinating system implementations, upgrades, testing and enhancements.
  • Experience managing software vendors, technology providers and service relationships.
  • Strong understanding of data security, privacy, governance and ICT requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to support and train system users.
  • Experience in digital transformation, automation or technology-enabled change will be highly regarded.
  • Experience working in a regulated, compliance-driven or human services environment will be advantageous.
  • A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
What we offer
