Job summary

The Workplace Injury Commission (WIC) in Melbourne is seeking a System Configuration Analyst to support the ongoing operation, configuration and improvement of WIC's case management system. You will maintain workflow configurations, business rules, and automations that underpin efficient dispute resolution, working with projects, Enterprise Solutions and governance teams.

The impact you'll have:

At the Workplace Injury Commission, we've helped thousands of injured workers and employers resolve disputes and move forward with their lives. As a Victorian Government statutory authority, we play an important role in delivering fair, effective and accessible dispute resolution services that make a meaningful difference to the community. Working within the Registry as part of the team lead by the Manager, Service Operations, the System Configuration Analyst supports the ongoing operation, configuration and continuous improvement of WIC's case management system and associated operational solutions, ensuring they effectively support business needs and service delivery outcomes.

In this role, you will maintain workflow configurations, business rules, process documentation and system automations that underpin efficient, compliant and effective dispute resolution processes. Working closely with colleagues across projects, Enterprise Solutions and other specialist areas, you will identify opportunities to improve business processes and system functionality, helping to enhance service delivery, user experience and operational performance across the organisation.

You will also play a key role in supporting the effective use, maintenance and evolution of the case management platform and related operational solutions. Through collaboration with both operational and technical stakeholders, you will contribute to the documentation, testing and implementation of system enhancements and configuration changes, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose, aligned with governance requirements and successfully adopted across the business.

Who we're looking for:

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience administering, configuring and maintaining business systems, workflow platforms or case management systems within a controlled governance environment.
• Proven success identifying and implementing process and system improvements that enhance operational efficiency, user experience, quality and business outcomes.
• Experience analysing business processes, documenting workflows and translating business requirements into system configurations, business rules, task automation and workflow solutions.
• Experience maintaining process documentation, workflow artefacts, configuration records and knowledge resources to support operational consistency, governance and compliance requirements.
