Job summary

OutSystems in Sydney is seeking a Senior Solution Architect (Pre-Sales) to lead enterprise AI engagements, architect PoCs, and guide customers through agentic AI transformations. You will partner with sales and engineering to translate complex AI architectures into business outcomes, delivering strategic proof‑of‑concepts and engaging CIO stakeholders.

The role requires 5–8 years in pre‑sales/solution architecture with AI/ML exposure, strong presentation skills, and a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience in Pre‑Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, or Enterprise Software role, with exposure to AI/ML platforms, SaaS platforms, or AI‑augmented development.
• Deep understanding of modern architectures including web development, APIs, database modeling, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Working knowledge of agentic AI concepts (autonomous agents, orchestration patterns, human‑in‑the‑loop vs. human‑on‑the‑loop). Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and MCP.
• exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex tech into CIO-friendly terms and pivot to architecture diagrams with developers.
• Bachelor’s Degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Knowledge of AI data governance, security, compliance for regulated industries in AU/NZ.
• Hands-on experience with OutSystems ODC, Agent Workbench, or Mentor (preferred).
• Willingness to travel within ANZ for client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the premier technical authority during the enterprise sales cycle, from high-level pitches to hands-on proofs.
• Deliver high‑impact presentations and interactive workshops demonstrating Agentic AI capabilities.
• Architect and deliver PoCs connecting AI agents to enterprise systems with minimal disruption to customers.
• Represent OutSystems at industry events and customer summits as a subject matter expert.
• Collaborate with global Product and Engineering to feed ANZ insights into the roadmap.
• Enable alliance partners to understand and sell OutSystems’ agentic AI capabilities in the region.
