Job summary

KE Select invites applications for a Field Service Engineer – Microscopy & Imaging Systems based in Sydney, NSW. You will install, maintain and repair advanced microscopy and imaging systems across NSW, providing responsive technical support to research, industrial and healthcare customers.

We seek engineers with hands-on experience in microscopy or optical systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

2-5 years' experience in field service or electronics servicing.
Hands-on experience with microscopy equipment or imaging technologies is desirable.
Strong troubleshooting across electronic, mechanical and optical subsystems.
Excellent communication with technical customers.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair microscopy & imaging systems.
Diagnose faults across electronic, mechanical and optical subsystems.
Perform preventative maintenance and servicing to ensure reliability.
Provide responsive technical support to customers across settings.
Manage service activities per customer agreements and response times.
Assist with installation, commissioning and training of systems.
Prepare service reports and maintain equipment records.
Collaborate with sales, applications and technical teams.
Build strong customer relationships through proactive support.
Travel throughout NSW, interstate, and occasionally internationally for support and training.
