Job summary

Middy's Electrical is seeking a Switchboard Business Development Manager to drive profitable growth in the Victoria region. You will lead from the front, selling switchboards and related industrial products to electricians, end users and OEMs, while building strong customer relationships and executing business plans.

This is a frontline sales role requiring initiative and active engagement in field activities, not micromanaged office work.

Qualifications

• Electrical or fitter qualifications preferable.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Computer skills including Office 365 and CRM advantageous.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Understanding customers' needs is essential.
• Product knowledge is important.
• Attention to detail.
• Willingness to continue training and development.
• A valid full driver’s licence with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute Industrial business plans and marketing plans.
• Assist with training and educating staff and customers.
• Build long-term relationships with customers.
• Strengthen supplier relationships.
• Identify new business and growth opportunities.
• Improve industrial stock management.
• Maintain and improve profitable sales.
• Make sound decisions and resolve problems.
• Conduct regular meetings with customers and branches.
• Complete regular reporting as required.
• Ensure a strong safety culture within branches.
