Job summary

Middy's Electrical is seeking a Switchboard Business Development Manager to drive profitable growth in the Victoria region. You will lead from the front, selling switchboards and related industrial products to electricians, end users and OEMs, while building strong customer relationships and executing business plans.

This is a frontline sales role requiring initiative and active engagement in field activities, not micromanaged office work.

Qualifications

• Electrical or fitter qualifications preferable.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Computer skills including Office 365 and CRM advantageous.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Understanding customers' needs is essential.
• Product knowledge is important.
• Attention to detail.
• Willingness to continue training and development.
• A valid full driver’s licence with clean record.

The Role

Reporting to the Industrial Manager, we are seeking an ambitious and motivated person to join our specialised sales team as an Switchboard Business Development Manager. The role is to generate profitable growth in Victoria region. You will be Primarily responsible for selling switchboards however other Industrial products including Motor Control & Drives, Final Distribution and solutions to a diverse customer base including Industrial Electricians, End Users and OEM's (Original Equipment Manufacturers.) may be required. You will be passionate about building strong customer relationships and implementing and executing business plans for Middy's Branches. This means leading from the front, showing initiative and being actively involved in sales activities. This is not a role for people that like managing from a computer in an office.

Duties involved are:
