Job summary

BlueFit is seeking a Swim School Manager for the Sandringham site in Melbourne. You will own the Learn to Swim program, lead a team of instructors, and ensure exceptional safety and service quality within a welcoming community facility.

You will report to regional leadership and collaborate with site teams to foster growth, retention, and a fun, inclusive aquatic environment for members and families.

Qualifications

• Swim Teaching Qualification SISSS00112 (or AUSTSWIM / Swim Australia equivalent).
• VIC Working with Children Check (Employee status).
• Proven leadership of swim programs and safety practices.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will take full ownership of the Sandringham Learn to Swim program and daily facility operations. You will lead by example, mentoring instructors, engaging with parents, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and service quality.

Key Focus Areas:

• Operations & Service Excellence: Oversee daily swim school operations in line with BlueFit systems and service benchmarks.
• Team Leadership: Coach, schedule, and inspire a team of passionate swim instructors to deliver exceptional lessons.
• Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with members and families, handling feedback with care and warmth.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify growth opportunities to enhance program quality, student retention, and service delivery.

What We’re Looking For

• The Communicator: Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to engage comfortably with parents, staff, and leadership.
• Qualifications (or willingness to obtain before start date):
• Swim Teaching Qualification: SISSS00112 (or AUSTSWIM / Swim Australia equivalent)
• Clearances: Valid VIC Working with Children Check (Employee status)
