PCYC Capricorn Coast Aquatic Centre is hiring a Swim Ready Leader to manage all operations, safety, and performance of the Swim School. You will lead coaching staff, uphold best practice, and foster a customer-first culture that supports community belonging and growth.

Qualifications

• Must hold Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety certificate.
• Must hold or be willing to obtain Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics certificate.
• Must hold First Aid & CPR certificate and a current Pool Lifeguard certificate.

$43.82 per hour (please note junior rates may apply)

As the Swim Ready Leader, you will be responsible for all operations, management, and safety of Swim School families and the coaching team and is fully accountable for the program’s operational and financial performance. In this leadership role, you'll uphold a strong customer service and best practice culture, your ability to influence staff to build positive and collaborative relationships while championing a customer-first mindset is imperative to your success. About You

• Hold a current Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety certificate
• Hold (or willing and able to obtain) a current Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics Certificate.
• Hold a current First Aid & CPR certificate
• Hold(or willing and able to obtain) a current Pool Lifeguard certificate
• Hold (or able to obtain before commencement) a QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and consent to a National Police Check
• Hold a Pool Plant Operators certificate (desirable)
• Ability to travel across the state as required.
• Strong knowledge of water safety protocols.
