PCYC Capricorn Coast is seeking a casual Swim School Instructor to deliver high-quality swimming classes at Capricorn Coast Aquatic Centre. You will teach a range of ages, emphasize safety and enjoyment, and contribute to a welcoming community environment.

$37.41 per hour (please note that junior rates may apply)

As the Swimming Instructor, you will provide professional instruction in swimming programs within a school environment. This role will provide a safe, fun and educational environment in which students progressively learn to swim. About You

• Hold a current Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety - SISSS00132
• Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate
• Experience in a similar role is highly desirable
• Hold/willing to obtain a Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics (if required)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders
• Ability to deliver effective swimming lessons for a variety of age groups and skill levels
• Strong knowledge of water safety protocols.
