Job summary

IAG is seeking a senior technology leader to drive platform delivery and sustainment across its Australian operations. The role focuses on transforming platforms with a balance of business value, risk management and operational stability.

You will lead teams, partner with vendors and stakeholders, and champion automation and emerging technologies including AI to improve efficiency and resilience. The position is based in multiple locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading technology teams through transformation or operational improvement.
• Strong people leadership with team development focus.
• Ability to balance business priorities with operational needs and long-term outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams responsible for business-critical platforms, ensuring reliable service delivery and strong operational performance during transformation.
• Define and deliver platform sustainment strategies balancing value, stability, risk and cost.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance platform performance, resilience and sustainability.
• Partner with vendors, technology teams and stakeholders to manage support services, transitions and delivery outcomes.
• Champion engineering excellence, automation and AI opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Guide investment, demand and platform health decisions through governance and performance monitoring.
