Job summary

Aeris Resources Cracow Gold Operations is seeking a Surface Material Movement Supervisor to coordinate the movement of ore, waste and tailings on-site at Cracow, Queensland. The role reports to Processing Operations and emphasizes safety, efficiency and data-driven decision making.

You'll lead mobile plant activities, forecast movements, manage feed to the mill, and ensure environmental and policy compliance. A strong leadership presence and experience in mining operations are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience operating or supervising mobile plant in mining, crushing, or processing.
• Nationally recognized Mobile Plant Tickets (e.g., Large Front-End Loader RII competencies).
• Construction White Card (Highly regarded).
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
• Familiarity with payload/inventory reporting systems and maintenance management systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and control safe, efficient movement of surface materials across the mine site.
• Ensure ore, waste and tailings are managed in line with production plans and safety requirements.
• Forecast and communicate material movements and stowage to avoid rework.
• Maintain consistent feed and correct blend to mill or crusher per production plans.

The Nitty Gritty

Reporting to the Superintendent Processing Operations you will be responsible for coordinating and controlling the safe, efficient, and cost-effective movement of all surface materials across the mine site. The role ensures that ore, waste, and tailings materials are managed in accordance with production plans, safety standards, environmental requirements, and operational priorities.

Critical to the success of this new role will be:

• Elimination of rework by accurately forecasting and communicating material movements and stowage for the coming fortnight
• Maintaining consistent feed and correct blend to the mill or crusher in line with production plans.
• Developing, collecting, collating & providing accurate data that monitors performance against plan and allows analysis for improvements
• Compliance with Environmental Regulations, Company Policies and applicable regulations / standards for all material movement activities

What you Bring:

• 2–5 years of experience operating or supervising mobile plant in a mining, crushing, or processing environment.
• Nationally recognized Mobile Plant Tickets (e.g., Large Front-End Loader RII competencies),
• Construction White Card (Highly regarded).
• Behaviour consistent with Aeris Resources values.
• Familiarity with payload/inventory reporting systems (e.g., Loadrite, STEMS)
• Familiarity with maintenance management systems.
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of HSE regulatory and best practice requirements.
• Good leadership, interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
