Job summary

Aeris Resources Limited is seeking a Senior Health & Safety Advisor for Cracow Gold Operations in central Queensland. Reporting to the Sustainability Manager, you will lead safety education, incident investigations and SHMS improvements across underground mining operations.

This role requires a strong background in WHS, incident response and driving continuous safety performance, with a focus on coaching staff and ensuring compliant practices at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an OHS Advisor or Safety Representative, preferably in underground mining or process plant operations.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an operational role in mining, minerals processing and/or similar industry.
• Experience in coordinating and/or leading delivery of SHMS through continuous improvement.
• Experience in engaging, influencing, coaching and mentoring all levels of operational personnel.
• Unrestricted Manual Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

• Promote awareness of Health and Safety Practices and drive positive safety outcomes.
• Investigate incidents and maintain the Safety and Health Management System at site.
• Deliver safety education and work with the site to implement improvements.
• Collaborate with the Sustainability Manager to support program implementation.

The Nitty Gritty

Reporting to the Sustainability Manager, you will play an integral part in our operation, supporting the effective application of all health, safety and training programs.

In your day to day, you will assist with ongoing safety education and working with site to drive positive safety outcomes and initiatives. You will be responsible for promoting awareness of Health and Safety Practices, investigating incidents and developing and maintaining the sites Safety and Health Management System

What you Bring:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an OHS Advisor or Safety Representative, preferably in underground mining or process plant operations.
