Job summary

Aeris Resources Limited's Cracow Gold Operations is seeking a Jumbo Operator to advance underground development safely and efficiently, performing jumbo drilling and ground support installation.

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will read ground conditions, maintain equipment and participate in pre-start checks, with a focus on safety and meeting site standards. This is based at Cracow Gold Operations, Queensland, with Family Friendly roster options and FIFO/DIDO availability.

Qualifications

• Competent in safe jumbo drilling and ground support installation.
• Ability to meet productivity standards (metres advanced).
• Ability to read and interpret ground conditions and drill designs.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and pre-start checks on drilling equipment.

The Nitty Gritty

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for advancing underground development safely and efficiently. You’ll carry out all aspects of development drilling, and ground support, while maintaining safety, identifying hazards, and meeting site standards.

What you Bring:

• Demonstrated competence in the safe and efficient operation of the jumbo drill and installation of ground support.
• Demonstrated to be capable of meeting productivity standards (metres advanced).
• Demonstrated ability to read ground conditions and drill designs.
• Demonstrated ability to install ground support such as bolts, mesh, and other products as required.
• Demonstrated ability to undertake daily servicing and routine maintenance of the jumbo.
• Actively participate in pre-start checks and basic maintenance on drilling equipment.
• Maintain safe, clean, and productive work areas in active headings.
• Good all round work performance and positive attitude to HSE and the care of equipment; and
• Competent in peripheral tasks (basic road maintenance, services) and service checks, maintenance on equipment.
