Job summary

Aeris Resources Limited, Cracow Gold Operations, is seeking a Mining Engineer to own production planning, drill and blast and short-term scheduling at Cracow. Reporting to the Mine Engineering Superintendent, you will work with the operations and technical teams to deliver plans and direction.

This role offers autonomy within a small, close-knit team, where ideas are trialled and implemented. The successful candidate will have tertiary Mining Engineering qualifications and 1–5+ years underground

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering.
• 1–5+ years in mining operations, planning and/or production roles.
• Planning and drill and blast experience in underground hard rock metalliferous environments.
• Experience using Deswik and Ventsim software.
• Strong communication and organising skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, while being a strong team player within the Technical Services department.

Responsibilities

The Nitty Gritty

Reporting to the Mine Engineering Superintendent the Mining Engineerwill own production, drill and blast and short-term scheduling. Working closely with the operational and technical teams to keep operations provided with all the required plans and direction needed to succeed, whilst identifying improvement opportunities.

This is a rare opportunity to join a small, close-knit team, where you can work with autonomy whilst still having the support of experienced senior engineers. At Cracow your ideas, improvements and strategies are not only heard, they are actually trialled and implemented!

What you Bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering
• 1 to 5+ years in mining operations, planning and/or production roles
• Planning and drill and blast experience in an underground hard rock metalliferous environment
• Experience using Deswik and Ventsim software
• Strong communication and organising skills
• The ability to working autonomously, whilst being a strong team player within the Technical Services department
