Job summary

Glencore Mount Isa Mines seeks an experienced Supervisor Fixed Surface Assets to lead the George Fisher Mine Maintenance Team. You will oversee safety, performance and continuous improvement of Hoisting and Shaft Assets, reporting to the Superintendent Fixed Plant Maintenance & Operations.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade qualification and/or degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in maintenance infrastructure with mining/processing equipment experience.
• Experience leading people and maintenance teams.
• Knowledge of asset maintenance systems and processes.
• Understanding of budgeting, analytics and financial management.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and underground mining considerations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible leadership across the Fixed Surface Assets team.
• Ensure safe and effective maintenance activities and KPI adherence.
• Manage budgets, cost centres and capital projects.
• Coordinate with reliability, operations and engineering teams.
• Develop the team culture aligned with company values.
• Drive continuous improvement to optimise resources and reduce costs.
• Ensure shift handovers and accurate reporting to management.
