Job summary

HammondCare is seeking caring Home Care Workers in Batemans Bay to support older people at home, with travel to clients’ residences using your own car. You’ll be part of a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving quality of life through person-centered care.

Roles are casual/relief with potential for permanent Part-time, and hours may span Monday to Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm. Training is provided and a driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s licence and access to an insured, reliable car.
• Willingness to start or continue a career in aged care.
• Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support preferred; we can help you get qualified.

We do! Join HammondCare as a Home Care Worker and be part of an independent, not-for-profit organisation improving the lives of thousands of older people in need.

HammondCare Home Care is currently looking for Carers to join our team in Batemans Bay on casual/relief basis with a potential to be permanent part time.

The applicant must be available for Monday to Friday 8 :00 am to 5:00 pm

About the role

You'll provide essential, practical care for older people, supporting them to live independently in their own homes and genuinely improving their quality of life. This includes not only day-to-day care but also building meaningful relationships and offering companionship. The role requires travel to clients' homes using your own car (you'll be paid $0.99 per km plus paid travel time).

About you

• you're a people-person who is patient and solutions-focused
• you have previous experience in aged or community care, or are looking to start your career in aged care
• you have a valid Driver's Licence and access to an insured, reliable car (min. Third Party Property Insurance)
• ideally, you'll have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support. If you're not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help
• you'll be flexible around meeting the changing needs of home care clients
