Job summary

Newly By Healthcarelink Support in NSW is seeking a dedicated Female Support Worker to provide in-home care for an 18-year-old participant with complex support needs in the Grafton region. This urgent casual/ongoing role requires reliability, compassion and the ability to work independently in a home setting.

Ideal candidates will have disability/complex support experience, NDIS clearances, a current NDIS Worker Screening Check, a Working with Children Check where applicable, and a valid

Qualifications

• Previous experience in disability/complex support.
• Relevant qualifications and NDIS-related clearances as required.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Working with Children Check, where applicable.
• First Aid & CPR.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home support to an 18-year-old female participant with complex support needs.
• Maintain a regular casual/ongoing schedule (46 hours per week, five days).
• Deliver person-centred, respectful and compassionate care.
• Work independently in a home-based environment and communicate effectively with carers and family.

• Female Support Worker required
• 46 hours per day, 5 days per week

• Participant has sufficient NDIS funding available for the required supports
• Immediate commencement preferred

• Have previous experience supporting participants with complex support needs
• Be compassionate, patient and reliable
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Be confident working independently in a home-based environment
• Be committed to providing person-centred and respectful support
• Be available for regular weekday shifts
