Catholic Healthcare Limited is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to visit clients in Kogarah, Sutherland Shire and Wororona areas, delivering in-home care and practical support. This permanent part-time role covers Monday, Thursday and Friday shifts, with travel between clients and the chance to make a positive impact in the community.

Qualifications

• To be successful in this role you’ll need a genuine passion for providing high quality care to older Australians in the community.
• You’ll be comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people.

• You’ll have an understanding of workplace health and safety.
• Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support is highly regarded (but not essential).
• An Australian driver’s licence and access to a registered motor vehicle is essential.

• Hourly rate from $34.50 to $37.00 + superannuation + $1.11 per km

• Location - Travelling to visit clients around Kogarah, Sutherland Shire/ Wororona areas

You will be travelling around Kogarah, Sutherland Shire/ Wororona areas in a varied and rewarding role - no two days will be the same!!

Day to day role looks like:

• Supporting and connecting with our clients assisting with day to day in home tasks - cleaning, tidying, washing and other tasks within the client's care plan
• Transport to appointments and shopping
• Meal preparation
• Social Support or Respite for family/carers
• Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)
