Job summary

Catholic Healthcare is seeking passionate carers to support clients living at home around Campbelltown and Liverpool. Roles are casual and permanent part‑time with travel between visits, offering variety and meaningful work.

The pay starts at $34.50–$37.00 per hour plus 25% casual loading, superannuation and km reimbursement ($1.11 per km). Not-for-profit salary packaging up to $18,550 tax-free is available to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for high-quality care in the community.
• Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people.

• Understanding of workplace health and safety.
• Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support preferred but not essential.
• Australian Driver's Licence and access to a registered vehicle essential.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with day-to-day in-home tasks: cleaning, tidying, washing.
• Transport to appointments and shopping.
• Meal preparation.
• Social support or respite for family/carers.
• Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified).

Day To Day Role Looks Like

• Supporting and connecting with our clients assisting with day to day in home tasks - cleaning, tidying, washing and other tasks within the client's care plan
• Transport to appointments and shopping
• Meal preparation
• Social Support or Respite for family/carers
• Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)

To Be Successful In This Role You'll Need

• A genuine passion for providing high quality care to older Australian's in the community
• To be comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
• Good communication skills
• To be a reliable team player
• To have an understanding of workplace health and safety
• Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support highly regarded (but not essential)
• An Australian driver's licence and access to a registered motor vehicle (essential)
