Job summary

You Me And The Community in Queensland is seeking dedicated Support Workers to join a compassionate team. You will support clients in their home, community, and respite care, delivering complex care including mental health and behaviour management, personal care, meal preparation, and daily activities.

The role requires flexible availability, including weekends, evenings and public holidays, and a commitment to the National Disability Standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Home and Community Care, Aged Care, Individual Support or Disability, Mental Health (Or working towards).
• Valid drivers license.
• Reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance.
• First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain).
• NDIS Modules (or willing to obtain).
• Smart phone with reliable internet

Responsibilities

• Support clients in their home, community, and respite care with complex care needs (Behavior/Medical/Mental Health).
• Provide Domestic Assistance, Personal Care, Meal Preparation, and support for community participation.
• Assist with excursions and transport; support daily living activities per NDIS Plan.
