Job summary

MS Queensland is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to provide in-home and community-based care for individuals with high and complex support needs in Albany Creek and Caboolture. You’ll work a 24/7 rotating roster across apartment complexes and the community, delivering person-centred care in line with care plans.

You’ll join part-time and casual opportunities with shifts across mornings, afternoons and nights, offering flexibility and potential longer-term opportunities as roles

Qualifications

Cert III in Disability/Individual Support with completion certificate.
Current First Aid and CPR within required time frames.
Experience with high/complex needs including neurological conditions.
NDIS understanding or willingness to learn; person-centred approach.

Responsibilities

Deliver personal care and daily living support per care plans.
Support community access and meaningful participation.
Provide medication support and assist with appointments.
Deliver complex supports (catheter care, transfers, PEG feeding, suctioning).
Monitor wellbeing, document and escalate changes promptly.
Maintain accurate records and follow safety practices.
