Community Care Foundation in Maryborough, Queensland, is seeking a Disability Support Worker to provide complex and high-care support. The role involves assisting with personal care, mobility, and daily living tasks for participants with conditions such as dementia and Parkinson’s, across a 7-day roster including sleepovers.

Formación

• Experience supporting people with complex disabilities and high-care needs.
• Able to perform personal care and activities of daily living.
• Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support and responding calmly to behaviours of concern.
• Recognise changes in a participant’s presentation and communicate concerns.

Responsabilidades

• Support NDIS participants with personal care and daily living skills.
• Assist with medication administration and documentation.
• Implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP).
• Support community participation and social inclusion.
• Maintain clear and compliant reporting.
