Job summary

Claro is seeking a Disability Support Worker in Ryde to provide in-home support and personal care. You will assist with daily activities, mobility, and medication adherence, enabling independence for clients in their homes.

Qualifications

• Experience with disability and aged care support.
• Hold current First aid/CPR certification.
• Possess relevant qualifications in disability or ageing support.
• Manual handling experience.
• 6am - 12:30pm shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with daily activities at clients' homes.
• Assist with hygiene and personal care as needed.
• Support activities outside the home and accompany clients.
• Assist with medication administration/dispensing per plan.
• Meal preparation and dietary support as required.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Disability support worker to be a part of our team in Ryde

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
• Providing support with hygiene and personal care
• Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
• Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
• Meal assistance which may include meal preparation

About you:

• Experience with disability and aged support
• Posses relevant qualifications in disability or ageing support
• Hold current First aid/CPR
• Manual handling experience
• 6am - 12:30pm
