Job summary

Claro in Homebush is seeking a Disability Support Worker to join our team. You will provide support with daily activities at home, assist with personal care, and help with medication and meal preparation, with flexible shifts across mornings and evenings.

Experience in disability and aged care, valid First Aid/CPR, and manual handling skills are required. DL not required. We offer flexible shifts and opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with daily activities in the home.
• Assist with hygiene and personal care.
• Assist with activities outside the home and provide companionship as needed.
• Assist with medication compliance including dispensing prescriptions where required.
• Provide meal assistance and meal preparation.
• Work schedule includes shifts: Monday–Saturday 6am–8am, Wed–Sun 4:30pm–8:30pm; Homebush shifts: Mon 5:30–8pm, Thu 9:30–11:30am/1pm–3pm/5:30–8pm, Fri 9:30am–1pm, Sun unspecified.

  The Opportunity:

  We are looking for a Disability support worker to be a part of our team in Homebush.

  You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
  • Providing support with hygiene and personal care
  • Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
  • Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
  • Meal assistance which may include meal preparation

  • Monday - Saturday 6am-8am Wednesday - Sunday 4:30pm-8:30pm

  • Homebush: Monday 5:30-8pm Thursday 9:30-11:30am / 1pm-3pm / 5:30-8pm Friday 9:30am-1pm Sunday

  About you:

  • Experience with disability and aged support
  • Posses relevant qualifications in disability or ageing support
