Zusammenfassung

Claro Disability Services is seeking dedicated care workers to support clients with complex needs in Melbourne. You will engage with clients and families to understand goals, provide mobility and daily task assistance, monitor health, and facilitate meaningful activities.

We value empathy, reliability, and teamwork; prior epilepsy experience is a plus. Shifts are flexible to fit your life while delivering high-quality, person-centered care.

What you’ll do

• Person-centered planning: Chat with the client (and family/advocates), get the know them and understanding of goals and routines.
• Complex physical care: Help with mobility, transfers, positioning, daily tasks, and devices (wheelchairs, aids, etc.) as outlined in the plan
• Medical supports: Watch for changes, follow med/clinical plans, and liaise with the care team if things shift.
• Social time and participation: Bring meaning, fun, and community access aligned with interests.
• Autonomy and advocacy: Support decision-making, respect consent, boost independence where possible.
• Cultural humility: Respect backgrounds, beliefs, and ways of being

Who we’re looking for

• Reliable and professional, with good notetaking and teamwork.

• Optional but nice: Manual handling, epilepsy management, or disability-support training.
