Job summary

Claro Disability Services in New South Wales is seeking compassionate support workers to assist clients with complex needs. You’ll help with mobility, daily routines, and activities that foster independence, dignity, and confidence.

Work closely with families, medical professionals, and other support workers to tailor plans, monitor health changes, and provide social participation. Flexible shifts and a supportive team culture ensure meaningful, long‑term impact.

What you’ll do (*tailored to each client as required*)

• Person-centered planning: Chat with the client (and family/advocates), get the know them and understanding of goals and routines.
• Complex physical care: Help with mobility, transfers, positioning, daily tasks, and devices (wheelchairs, aids, etc.) as outlined in the plan
• Medical supports: Watch for changes, follow med/clinical plans, and liaise with the care team if things shift.
• Social time and participation: Bring meaning, fun, and community access aligned with interests.
• Autonomy and advocacy: Support decision‑making, respect consent, boost independence where possible.
• Cultural humility: Respect backgrounds, beliefs, and ways of being

• Monday - 7am - 3pm
• Tuesday - 7am - 3pm
• Friday - 7am - 3pm
