Job summary

Calvary Home Care - Albury is seeking a Support Worker to assist diverse clients with daily living activities at home and in the community, including domestic assistance, meal prep and personal care.

This permanent part-time role is Monday to Friday only, with travel across the Wagga Wagga area. You will hold a Certificate III in Aged Care/Home and Community Care and a valid driver’s licence, enjoy flexible hours and a supportive, mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support.
• Current and valid Driver’s Licence.
• Ability to work in home and community settings.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living at home and in the community.
• Provide Domestic Assistance, Social Support, Respite Care.
• Transport, Meal Preparation, and Personal Care.
• Maintain accurate records and effective communication with clients and team.

About You

• A Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support
• Current and valid Driver’s Licence, Comprehensively insured, reliable motor vehicle and smart mobile phone
• Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
• Proficiency in use of technology such as smart phones, email and internet
• A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
