Job summary

Calvary Care in Victoria is seeking a Qualified Support Worker to join our team serving Wangaratta and surrounding towns. You will provide in-home support to allow clients to live independently, assisting with daily living tasks, personal and respite care, and social activities.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, or Individual Support (desirable).
• Current and valid Driver’s Licence, insured vehicle and smartphone.

• Effective verbal and written communication with a customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Proficiency in using technology such as smartphones, email and internet.
• A desire to join a team committed to care in a mission-based organisation.

About the role We are looking for people to join our team as Support Workers in the aged community.

As a Support Worker your role will beto support our clients to remain living at home with activities of daily living such as domestic assistance, personal and respite care and social support.

• A Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, or Individual Support (desirable)
• Current and valid Driver’s Licence, insured, reliable motor vehicle and smart mobile phone
• Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
• Proficiency in use of technology such as smart phones, email and internet
• A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation
