Job summary

Calvary Home Care is seeking a Personal Care Support Worker in Cootamundra and surrounding areas to assist clients with daily living activities, social support and in-home care. You will provide compassionate care across Domestic Assistance, Transport, Meal Prep and Personal Care in clients' homes and the community.

Permanent part-time role with flexible hours, Monday to Friday, supporting aged and high-needs clients.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support.
• Current and valid driver’s licence with comprehensive insurance and a reliable vehicle.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a customer-service focus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency with technology such as smartphones, email and internet.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living at home and in the community.
• Provide Domestic Assistance and Social Support.
• Support with Transport, Meal Preparation and Personal Care.
• Medication administration where applicable.

About the role

As a Support Worker your role will be to assist a diverse range of clients including aged and high needs clients with activities of daily living and providing services such as Domestic Assistance, Social Support, Respite Care, Transport, Meal Preparation, Medication Administration and Personal Care at their home and in the community.

About you

• A Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support
• Current and valid Driver’s Licence, Comprehensively insured, reliable motor vehicle and smart mobile phone
• Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
• Proficiency in use of technology such as smart phones, email and internet
