Job summary

Calvary Home Care - Albury is seeking a Support Worker to assist a diverse range of clients with daily living activities and personal care in home and community settings.

The role is permanent part-time, Monday to Friday. Applicants should hold a Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support, a valid Driver’s Licence, and a passion for community care.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support.
• Current and valid Driver’s Licence and comprehensively insured vehicle.
• Capacity to work in community/home care settings with a diverse client base.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Provide Domestic Assistance, Social Support, Respite Care and Transport.
• Meal preparation and medication administration as required.
• Support clients at home and in the community with quality care.

As a Support Worker your role will be to assist a diverse range of clients including aged and high needs clients with activities of daily living and providing services such as Domestic Assistance, Social Support, Respite Care, Transport, Meal Preparation, Medication Administration and Personal Care at their home and in the community.

About you

• A Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support
• Current and valid Driver’s Licence, Comprehensively insured, reliable motor vehicle and smart mobile phone
• Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
• Proficiency in use of technology such as smart phones, email and internet
