Job summary

Calvary Home Care is seeking a Personal Care Support Worker to assist aged and high-need clients with daily living activities in their homes and communities. The role is permanent part-time with Monday to Friday availability.

You will provide domestic assistance, social support, respite care, transport, meal preparation and, where required, medication administration. Join a mission-driven organisation delivering care across NSW communities.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support.
• Current, valid Driver’s Licence, comprehensive insurance, reliable motor vehicle and smart mobile phone.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good verbal and written communication with a customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living at home and in the community.
• Provide domestic assistance, social support, respite care and transport.
• Prepare meals and administer medications as required.

About the role

As a Support Worker your role will be to assist a diverse range of clients including aged and high needs clients with activities of daily living and providing services such as Domestic Assistance, Social Support, Respite Care, Transport, Meal Preparation, Medication Administration and Personal Care at their home and in the community.

About you

• A Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support
• Current and valid Driver’s Licence, Comprehensively insured, reliable motor vehicle and smart mobile phone
• Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation
