Job summary

Making Progress Pty Ltd is seeking community support workers to provide person-centred homecare and community support in the Townsville region. Applicants must have a Certificate 3 or 4 in Aged or Disability Care, police checks, a current Australian driver’s licence, and a roadworthy vehicle, with NDIS screening and Working With Children clearances also required.

Successful candidates will access ongoing training and development with our in-house team of professionals.

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 or 4 in Aged or Disability Care is required.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance is required.
• Blue Card (Working With Children) is required.
• Yellow Card (Employer Screening) is required.
• A current and valid Australian drivers licence is required.
• A roadworthy and registered vehicle is required.
• Ability to work in Australia is required.

Making Progress Pty Ltd is focused on providing individualised and person-centred community support and homecare, in the Townsville region. We seek community support workers who possess the experience and passion for caring for people who are ageing and / orliving with a disability and / or chronic degenerative neurological condition.

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria prior to or in readiness for the induction process:

Certificate 3 or 4 in Aged or Disability Care

A Current Australian Federal Police or Queensland National Police Check

A current and valid Australian drivers licence

A roadworthy and registered vehicle

Ability to work in Australia

NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

Blue Card (Working With Children)

Yellow Card (Employer Screening)

The successful applicants will receive ongoing personal development and training with access to our online learning platform, experienced in-house Registered Nurses & Occupational Therapists.
