Hall & Prior Health & Aged Care Group is seeking an empathetic Support Worker to assist elderly clients living in the community across the St George and Sutherland areas. You will provide day-to-day support, companionship, personal care and transport as needed.

The role is casual with potential for permanent part-time hours as the service grows. Flexible day shifts on weekdays and weekends, with travel to clients' homes and ongoing training opportunities.

Competenze

• Experience as a Support Worker providing care to the elderly in the community.
• Strong communication, empathy, and ability to work autonomously.
• Valid Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable car for client visits.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and flu vaccination, or willingness to obtain.

Mansioni

• Develop positive relationships with clients and deliver excellent customer service.
• Assist with day-to-day activities such as outings, personal care, meals and domestic tasks.
• Complete accurate progress notes reflecting client care.
• Travel to elderly clients living at home in the St George and Sutherland areas.

About you

• Experienced as a Support Worker, providing care to the elderly in the community
• Motivated, compassionate, confident working autonomously, excellent communication skills, and able to develop rapport with clients and their families
• Valid overseas or unrestricted Australian driver's licence, a reliable car and willing to drive to people’s homes in the community to provide support and care
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and flu vaccination, or willing to obtain
• Working rights in Australia (sponsorship will not be offered)
