FOCUS Connect is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to assist individuals in need. You will provide emotional and physical support, help with daily living activities, meals, and accompany clients to appointments, while maintaining clear records.

Ideal candidates will have excellent communication, a patient demeanor, and the ability to work both in a team and autonomously within Australia's aged care or disability services sectors. Working rights in Australia are required.

Responsabilidades

• Accompany individuals to appointments and activities.

• Monitor and report any changes in an individual's condition.
• Provide a safe and comfortable environment for individuals.

  All candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Current and valid Working With Children Check clearance (or willing to obtain)
  • Current and valid full Drivers Licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Current and valid First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • Cleared National Criminal History check (or willing to obtain)
  • OR current and cleared NDIS Worker Check
  • Experience working within Aged Care or Disability Services
  • Ability to work within a team and also autonomously
  • Working rights in Australia
  • Smartphone to access rostering application
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor

  Desirable Criteria:

  Fluent in either of the following languages; Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Arabic.

  MR licence and ability to drive a bus
