Northcott in Campbelltown is seeking multiple passionate Casual Support Workers to provide person-centred care across our accommodation sites. You will support customers with complex health needs, administer medications, and help them live life their way.

You will join a not-for-profit team, work on a 24/7 rotating roster including overnights and weekends, and benefit from salary packaging and wellbeing perks designed to support your income and health.

Qualificações

• Experience supporting customers in an accommodation setting.
• Hold a valid driver’s licence and be confident driving a 12-seater van.
• Comfortable with personal care and supporting participation in activities.
• Ability to think on your feet, remain calm under pressure, and adapt to changing situations.

Responsabilidades

• Support customers with complex and challenging behaviours and implement Behaviour Support Plans.
• Provide medication administration, including oral, liquid and PEG medications, with the ability to manage frequent medication changes.
• Support customers with complex health and clinical needs while following support and health management plans.
• Use manual handling techniques and equipment safely and confidently.
• Build positive, empowering relationships that help customers achieve their goals.
• Be available to work on a 24/7 rotating roster, including overnight, weekends, and public holidays.

• Experience supporting customers in an accommodation setting.
• Experience liaising with GPs, specialists, hospitals, pharmacies and allied health professionals to support customer health needs
• Hold a valid driver’s licence and be confident and comfortable driving a 12-seater van.
• Comfortable with personal care and supporting participation in activities.
• Ability to think on your feet, remain calm under pressure, and adapt to changing situations.
• Empathy, reliability, and a genuine commitment to supporting people to live life their way.
