Job summary

Northcott in North Parramatta is seeking a Casual Support Worker to provide person-centred support in our accommodation services. You will empower customers to build independence, supporting goals and participation in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting customers in accommodation settings.
• Experience with intellectual disabilities and behaviours of concern, with mental health training or related experience.
• Hold a valid driver’s licence and be confident driving a 12-seater van.

Job description

Join our growing team as a Casual Support Worker in North Parramatta, providing quality, person-centred support to customers in our accommodation services. Make a meaningful difference by empowering customers to build independence, achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

• Support customers with complex health and clinical needs while following support and health management plans.
• Provide medication administration, including oral and liquid medications, and manage frequent medication changes.
  
• Use manual handling techniques and equipment safely and confidently.
• Build positive, empowering relationships that help customers achieve their goals.
• Be available to work on a 24/7 rotating roster, including overnight, weekends, and public holidays.
