Job summary

Anglicare Southern Queensland in Toowoomba is seeking a Support Services Worker to provide cleaning support for clients in their homes. You will work independently, following domestic care plans and maintaining professional boundaries with clients and their families.

Qualifications

About the Role:

We currently have Support Services Workerpositions available. Our workers provide invaluable support by providing cleaning support to our clients in their homes.

About You:

We are looking for applicants that have:

• Experience in cleaning
• Comfortable in the use of housekeeping equipment
• Able to follow domestic care plans
• Clear communicator who can maintain professional boundaries with clients and their families
• Demonstrated ability to be able to work independently and effectively with the elderly

The physical demands of this role will include standing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching etc.

• A Certificate II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) will be highly regardedbut not required

The following will be required of successful applicants:

• Current Driver Licence and your own reliable vehicle
• A current National Police Certificate
• Tetanus and Hepatitis B shots (or willingness to obtain)
