Job summary

Anglicare Southern Queensland is seeking Service Support Workers to assist clients across Cecil Plains and surrounding Queensland areas. You will provide cleaning support in clients' homes, follow domestic care plans, and maintain professional boundaries while communicating clearly with clients and families.

Ideal applicants have cleaning experience, are comfortable with housekeeping equipment, can work independently with the elderly, and hold a current driver's license with reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

About the Role: We currently haveService Support Workerpositions available to service clients across Pittsworth/Millmerran .Our workers provide invaluable support by providing cleaning support to our clients in their homes.

We are looking for applicants that have:

• Experience in cleaning
• Comfortable in the use of housekeeping equipment
• Able to follow domestic care plans
• Clear communicator who can maintain professional boundaries with clients and their families
• Demonstrated ability to be able to work independently and effectively with the elderly
• The physical demands of this role will include standing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching etc.
• A Certificate II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) will be highly regardedbut not required

The following will be required of successful applicants:

• Current Driver Licence and your own reliable vehicle
• A current National Police Certificate
• Tetanus and Hepatitis B shots (or willingness to obtain)
