Job summary

Anglicare Southern Queensland is seeking a Part-time Service Support Worker to deliver in-home cleaning support across the Sunshine Coast region. You will travel to various suburbs including Noosaville, Noosa Heads, and Noosa etc., providing cleaning assistance to older clients in their own homes.

The role requires experience in cleaning, comfort with housekeeping equipment, and the ability to follow domestic care plans. A current driver’s licence and police certificate are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning in a home care setting.
• Comfortable with housekeeping equipment and supplies.
• Able to follow domestic care plans and instructions.
• Clear communicator who maintains professional boundaries with clients and families.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with elderly clients.
• Certificate II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) is highly regarded but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning support to clients in their homes.
• Travel to clients across the Sunshine Coast region as required.
• Follow care plans and report changes to supervisors.

We currently have Part-timeService Support Workerpositions available to service clients across theSunshine Coastregion.Our workers provide invaluable support by providing cleaning support to our clients in their homes.

Some suburbs of travel required in this role:

• Noosaville, Noosa Heads, Tewantin, Sunshine Beach, East Deep Creek, Cooloola Cove, Kin Kin, Boreen Point

About You:

We are looking for applicants that have:

• Experience in cleaning
• Comfortable in the use of housekeeping equipment
• Able to follow domestic care plans
• Clear communicator who can maintain professional boundaries with clients and their families
• Demonstrated ability to be able to work independently and effectively with the elderly
• The physical demands of this role will include standing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching etc.
• A Certificate II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) will be highly regardedbut not required

The following will be required of successful applicants:

• Current Driver Licence and your own reliable vehicle
• A current National Police Certificate
• Tetanus and Hepatitis B shots (or willingness to obtain)
