Job summary

Anglicare Southern Queensland in Brisbane is seeking a Permanent Part-time Domestic Services Worker - Cleaner to support older people at home with cleaning, laundry, cooking and social contact.

You will work Mon-Fri 7am-6pm, travel across Redlands may be required, and a current driver's licence and vehicle are essential.

OurCleveland Home and Community Services are seeking a Permanent Part-time Domestic Services Worker - Cleaner. The pay rate for this role will range from $32.65-$37.33/hr depending on your experience.

Our Domestic Services Workers provide invaluable support by providing general household cleaning, laundry, cooking and social support to our older population with help around their homes.

Service Areas Include: Belmont, Hemmant, Lota, Lytton, Manly, Manly West, Ransome, Tingalpa, Wakerley, Wynnum, Wynnum West

The shift timings will range between Mon-Fri 7am-6pm. Fridays and 3+ days availability is highly preferred.

This role is expected to mainly cover Wynnum and Manly areas but travel across all of the Redlands may be required.

About you:

• Comfortable in the use of housekeeping equipment
• Clear communicator who can maintain professional boundaries with clients and their families
• Demonstrated ability to be able to work independently and effectively with the elderly
• The physical demands of this role may include standing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching etc.

Qualifications:

• Current Driver Licence and your own reliable vehicle
• A current National Police Certificate OR Paid NDIS/Yellow Card
