Resthaven on Quarry in Queensland is seeking a Casual Cleaning and Kitchen Hand to support weekday operations. You will help maintain clean, safe environments and assist with kitchen tasks to ensure high-quality resident care.

The role offers flexible shifts, an employee assistance program, and opportunities for on-site and online development within a Not-for-Profit setting. You will play a key part in delivering compassionate, respectful service to residents.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a similar role, preferably within an aged care setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Currently hold an NDIS Check (or willing to obtain).

Aufgaben

• Prepare and present meals and drinks as part of dietary services.
• Assist the chef with meal preparation, cleaning and general kitchen duties.
• Distribute meals to residents and provide dining room services.
• Clean all areas throughout resident rooms and the facility.
• Complete required documentation and reporting.
• Ensure handwashing supplies are available and replenished.
• Support laundry activities including item checking and labelling.

The Role Reporting to the Manager, you’ll support weekday operations by maintaining cleanliness and kitchen hand services in our homes, ensuring high standards are met. Our Support Services staff are integral to the wellbeing of our residents, delivering high-quality services. We are currently looking for a Casual Cleaning, & Kitchen Hand to join our team who are passionate about making a difference.

What you will do

What you will bring

• Experience gained in a similar role, preferably within an Aged Care setting (not essential)
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Currently holdanNDIS Check (or willing to obtain)
• An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes highly regarded but not essential
