Job summary

Blackbook Executive Pty is seeking a Supply & Inventory Planner for an established FMCG client in Brisbane. The role focuses on maintaining stock accuracy, coordinating planning and ensuring availability to meet production and customer needs.

• Experience in supply planning, materials planning or inventory control.
• Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing or fast-paced manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems, SAP preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyse inventory data.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels, stock accuracy, cycle counts and regular stocktakes.
• Review MRP requirements and coordinate supply to meet customer demand.
• Plan and purchase raw materials, packaging and production components.
• Raise and track purchase orders and follow up with suppliers on delivery timelines.
• Coordinate interstate freight movements and support on-time delivery.
• Analyse inventory and freight costs, identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Maintain ERP data, reporting and supply chain documentation.

The Company

Our client is a well-established FMCG business with a strong presence in the Australian market. With a focus on quality, operational efficiency and continuous improvement, they are looking for a Supply & Inventory Planner.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating supply and materials planning, and ensuring stock is available to meet operational and customer requirements. Working closely with internal teams and suppliers, you will play a key role in maintaining stock accuracy, supporting production requirements and improving supply chain efficiency.

• Managing inventory levels, stock accuracy, cycle counts and regular stocktakes.
• Reviewing MRP requirements and coordinating supply to meet customer demand.
• Planning and purchasing raw materials, packaging and production components.
• Raising and tracking purchase orders and following up with suppliers on delivery timelines.

• Maintaining accurate ERP data, reporting and supply chain documentation.

Your Background

• Previous experience in supply planning, materials planning, inventory control or a similar supply chain role.
• Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing or a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems, with SAP experience highly regarded.
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyse inventory and planning data.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Confident communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
